  • Pitching matchup – Akron: RHP Adam Plutko (1-2, 3.55) vs. Harrisburg: RHP Tyler Mapes (5-1, 3.09)
  • Tonight marks the first of 15 games this season between the Senators and the Akron RubberDucks (AA Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians).
  • Akron (23-9) enters tonight tied for the best record in the Eastern League with the Hartford Yard Goats.
  • The Senators have won four of their last five games, including a three-game sweep of Richmond. Harrisburg finished off the sweep yesterday, winning 2-1 over the Flying Squirrels in 12 innings when Harrisburg’s Zach Collier scored on a wild pitch as Richmond attempted to intentionally walk Neftali Soto.
  • Soto is 10-for-22 with a home run and nine RBI in his last five games. Soto’s homer is the only long ball hit by Harrisburg in its past five contests.
  • Akron and Harrisburg have been two of the best in one-run games this season. The RubberDucks are 8-0 in one-run games, while the Senators are 6-4.
