Game Notes

  • Pitching matchup – Harrisburg: RHP Reynaldo Lopez (1-4, 4.15) at Richmond: RHP Kyle Crick (1-3, 4.32)
  • The Senators had the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning Thursday night, but were unable to score the game-tying run in a 2-1 loss to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Harrisburg lost the series, two games to one, marking the first series loss over the Senators’ past five series.
  • Reynaldo Lopez takes the hill for the Senators Friday night coming off a dazzling five innings his last time out against Akron, in which he struck out a career-high 12 batters.

  • Since a 14-game losing streak that put Richmond at a season-worst 10-30, the Flying Squirrels have won 9-of-14 games.
  • Richmond starter, Kyle Crick, has had his issues with control, walking 66 in 63 innings last season. This year, however, Crick has walked only 24 in 41.2 innings including his last start of 5.2 innings in which he walked none.
