  • After eight seasons as the Altoona Curve’s General Manager, Rob Egan is leaving for the same position with the Charlotte Knights, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
  • Dusty Wathan will take the reins at Triple-A Lehigh Valley in 2017 ending his five-year run in Reading that saw the 43-year-old become the winningest manager in team history.
  • More good news for the RubberDucks as the Cleveland Indians renewed their Player Development Contract with Akron through the 2020 season. That means every Eastern League team will remain with the same affiliation for at least the next two years.
