Game 22 vs. Trenton: Lineup and Notes

GAME NOTES 05/01/2017

The Senators continue their six game road trip with a three game series against the Trenton Thunder. This is the first meeting of the year between the Senators and the Thunder. The Senators look to stop a two game losing skid after falling 3-2 in the rubber match against Altoona. The Senators went 3-6 versus the Thunder last season, and 2-4 in games at Arm & Hammer Park.

The Senators finished the month of April 10-11 following the series loss to Altoona. Overall the team won three series and lost three series. The club hit a combined .245 and the pitching staff accumulated a 4.10 ERA.

The Senators send Erick Fedde to the mound in the series opener in Trenton. Fedde suffered the loss in his last start, allowing four runs in seven innings against Reading. The right-hander is 1-2 with a 1.80 ERA this season, the fifth best mark in the Eastern League. Fedde is opposed by Thunder starter Chance Adams. The right-hander leads the league with a 0.80 ERA and is 3-0 on the season. The former 5th round pick in 2012 has allowed just two earned runs in his first 22 innings this season.
