TODAY’S GAME

The Senators and Hartford Yard Goats play the series finale Sunday afternoon. The Senators look to capture the four game set with a victory. Hartford won their first game of the series Saturday night, overcoming a 5-1 deficit to win 6-5. This is the third series of the season between the two clubs and second at FNB field. The Senators are 6-3 against Hartford on the season, including taking two of three in Hartford in the last series the two clubs played April 17 to April 20.

SEVEN INNING STARTERS

Erick Fedde and Jaron Long worked seven innings in back-to-back starts for the second time this season against Hartford. The duo also pitched consecutive seven inning one run starts in Hartford on April 18 and April 20. The two pitchers have accounted for all five of the Senators seven inning starts this season, two by Long and three by Fedde, and three of the five starts have come against Hartford.

TODAY’S STARTING PITCHERS 

Austen Williams starts the series finale for the Senators. The right-hander is 1-2 with a 4.70 ERA in four starts this year, and is making his first start of the season against the Yard Goats. Williams received a no-decision after allowing five runs in six innings in his last start against Trenton on May 2. The Yard Goats counter with starter Jack Wynkoop. The left-hander makes his third start of the season against the Senators, and allowed seven runs in five innings on April 18 at Dunkin Donuts Park in his last start against them. Wynkoop surrendered ten runs in three and a third inning in his most recent start on May 2 versus Portland. Overall, the Los Angeles, California native is 2-2 with a 6.07 ERA in five starts this season.
